Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Manage purchasing team to meet procurement and inventory management objectives, supervise purchasing activities, and ensure materials supply meets planning schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing team to meet procurement and inventory management objectives
• Supervise purchasing team on purchasing activities including issuance of orders, release forecasts and follow-up delivery plans with suppliers
• Ensure materials are smoothly supplied to meet planning schedule
• Handle escalation to suppliers to overcome material shortages and supply gaps to meet customer demand
• Review supplier buffer stock levels and monitor leadtime trends to analyze supply risk and develop supply risk mitigation
• Engage with suppliers on materials supply issues, accounts payable issues, non-conformance issues and various issues
• Review supplier quarterly (SQBR) rating

About you

• Bachelor degree in relevant education qualification
• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field
• Well experienced in purchasing PCB, electronics components and mechanical/plastic parts
• Familiar and experienced in electronic supply channels and supply chain management
• Passion, teamwork and good leadership skills
