Supply Chain Manager

Based in Carterton and reporting as a key member of the New Zealand Leadership Team, we are seeking an experienced and commercially astute National Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain function. With accountability across procurement, planning, inventory management and logistics strategy, you will ensure the business delivers outstanding service, supply continuity and commercial performance.

Leading a team across procurement, planning, warehousing and logistics, you will drive supplier partnerships, optimise inventory and working capital, strengthen Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capabilities and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that support growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the NZ supply chain strategy aligned to business objectives
• Lead procurement activities, supplier negotiations and contract management
• Drive demand planning, inventory optimisation and IBP/S&OP processes
• Manage supply chain budgets, costs and working capital performance
• Provide strategic oversight of logistics, warehousing and distribution operations
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining business continuity
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing supply chain team
• Champion continuous improvement, systems integration and operational excellence

About You

You are a commercially minded supply chain leader with strong experience across procurement, planning, inventory management and logistics within a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.

You will bring:

• 8-10+ years' experience in senior supply chain leadership roles
• Strong procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation expertise
• Experience leading IBP and S&OP processes
• Advanced ERP systems capability, ideally SAP
• Strong financial, commercial and analytical skills
• A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or a related discipline
