Role Description The Supply Chain Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of marine and communication systems and related products. This hybrid position is based in Alexandria, Egypt, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include demand planning, managing inventory levels, coordinating procurement, and optimizing supply management processes to meet project and customer requirements. The role involves analyzing data to forecast demand, managing relationships with local and international suppliers, monitoring logistics performance, and resolving supply chain issues. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance to align supply plans with business goals, maintain accurate records, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast needs, interpret data, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess solid Supply Management and Procurement skills to manage suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely sourcing of materials and services.
• Candidates should possess effective Inventory Management skills to control stock levels, minimize shortages and excess, and maintain accurate records.
• Candidates should possess strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
• Candidates should possess organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and resolve supply chain issues under time constraints.
• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in marine, communication systems, or related technical industries, and familiarity with ERP or supply chain software, will be beneficial.
