Supply Chain Manager

NJV School Management Board is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, inventory, logistics, vendor management, and supply chain operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee procurement, purchasing, inventory, and logistics activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods, materials, and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management.
• Maintain effective vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, and organizational procedures.
• Coordinate with departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and supplier records.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement, inventory, expenditures, and supply chain performance.
• Ensure quality, timely delivery, and value for money across procurement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and relevant procurement/inventory systems.
• Experience in the education, NGO, or institutional sector will be an advantage.
