Supply Chain Manager

About the role

This role focuses on supply chain planning and optimization, including inbound planning to reduce procurement costs, inventory planning to minimize storage time, packaging planning, procurement planning in coordination with the purchasing department, production planning, outbound planning with chemical load compatibility considerations, and delivery schedule communication.

Key responsibilities

• Plan inbound schedules and quantities for goods and chemicals to achieve lowest unit costs, such as consolidating shipments and optimizing full truck/container loads
• Compare inbound options (self-pickup vs. delivery, truck vs. container) and propose lowest total-cost approaches
• Plan inventory inflow and outflow to align with sales orders, reducing storage time and working capital
• Set and review appropriate stock levels (min-max, safety stock, reorder point) for each item
• Plan packaging material and label requirements to ensure availability before delivery deadlines and prevent delays
• Monitor and track packaging stock consistently
• Prepare purchase plans based on demand forecasts and stock levels, coordinating with the purchasing department
• Determine what items to order, quantities, and timing to meet demand without excess inventory across all three warehouses
• Assess supplier lead times and incorporate into planning to reduce stockout risk
• Review BOMs and production conditions, creating production plans for stock or customer demand fulfillment

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in planning, procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain (experience in chemicals/trading business is especially valued)
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong data analysis and quantitative planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good coordination and communication skills, able to work across departments
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within deadlines
• Able to handle pressure from different departments
