Supply Chain Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of materials and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Plan and monitor product and material movement from suppliers to branches or designated locations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor logistics and transportation performance, including delivery schedules and costs.
• Coordinate with different departments to forecast demand and ensure proper inventory planning.
• Analyze supply chain data, reports, and operational performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
• Address supply shortages, delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and other operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Lead, supervise, and evaluate supply chain personnel.
• Prepare regular reports and recommendations for management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory/supply chain management systems.
• Willing to travel and conduct field/branch visits when necessary.
