What they need
Supply Chain Manager
About EastEco
EastEco is a fast-growing food company based in the Netherlands, specialized in bringing Korean food and street food products to the European market.
We currently supply around 3,000–4,000 retail locations across Europe and work with major retailers, distributors, international suppliers, warehouses, forwarders and logistics partners.
As we continue to grow, our supply chain is becoming more complex. We are therefore looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who can take ownership of our end-to-end supply chain and help build a more structured, scalable and reliable operation.
The Role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the full supply chain from supplier to customer.
You will oversee demand and supply planning, inventory, purchasing coordination, international inbound logistics, warehousing and distribution.
Your goal is to make sure the right products are available, in the right quantities, at the right place and time, while keeping control over costs, risks and operational performance.
You will work closely with Management, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Quality and our external logistics partners.
What will you do?
- Take ownership of EastEco’s end-to-end supply chain;
- Translate sales forecasts into purchasing and inventory requirements;
- Manage demand planning, stock levels, safety stock and replenishment;
- Coordinate production planning, containers and international shipments;
- Manage warehouses, forwarders, carriers and other logistics partners;
- Monitor stock availability, deliveries and service levels;
- Resolve shortages, delays, stock discrepancies and supply chain issues;
- Monitor supply chain costs, partner performance and operational risks;
- Improve forecasting, reporting and supply chain visibility;
- Build scalable processes and continuously improve the way we work;
- Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Finance on promotions, launches and stock planning.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who combines strong operational execution with supply chain thinking.
You are structured, analytical and proactive. You think ahead, take ownership and are comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where processes are still developing.
Ideally, you have:
- HBO/WO working and thinking level;
- At least 3–5 years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience;
- Experience with demand planning, inventory management and logistics operations;
- Experience working with warehouses, forwarders, carriers and suppliers;
- Experience with international supply chains and preferably container imports;
- Strong Excel and analytical skills;
- A good understanding of stock coverage, replenishment and forecasting;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability;
- Good command of Dutch and English.
Experience in FMCG, food, retail, wholesale or another high-volume environment is strongly preferred.
Experience with frozen food logistics, European retail distribution, ERP/WMS systems or Asian sourcing is a plus.
The person we are looking for
You naturally think ahead and understand the operational impact of growth, promotions and new customer launches.
When issues arise, you solve them, find the root cause and improve the process.
You are able to manage daily operations while also building a more structured, visible and scalable supply chain.
What do we offer?
- Competitive salary based on experience;
- Full-time contract;
- 25 vacation days;
- Travel allowance;
- A lot of independence and responsibility;
- A key role in a fast-growing international company;
- Direct exposure to major retailers, suppliers and logistics partners;
- Short communication lines and fast decision-making;
- Monthly company dinners and regular team activities;
- Opportunities to grow into a broader Supply Chain or Operations leadership role.
