- Contribute to shipping procedures, process improvements and supply chain initiatives
- Provide general operational support across freight, warehousing and supply chain activities as required
To stand out from the crowd, you will need to show us that you have:
- 2+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or a similar role
- Experience in logistics, freight, importing or inventory management
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor M3
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- A solid understanding of New Zealand Customs regulations and MPI biosecurity requirements
- Finance, landed cost or Letter of Credit experience will be advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused and team-oriented approach
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouses and internal stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
