Your role as a Supply Chain Operations Specialist

As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you'll coordinate Less than Container Load shipments — managing the full movement of partial container shipments within the regional network, working closely with co-loaders, trucking partners, warehouses, and customs. No logistics background needed; what matters is analytical thinking, structure, and ownership. You'll get clear check-ins and dedicated mentorship to quickly build your independence. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating end-to-end LCL shipment execution with partners like co-loaders, truckers, customs, and warehousing.
• Ensuring accurate data entry and documentation, and monitoring SOP and compliance requirements.
• Resolving customer issues quickly, escalating when needed.
• Tracking your work against internal KPIs and SLAs, using feedback to keep improving.
• Spotting opportunities to streamline workflows, including through AI tools.
• Communicating clearly with your team on task status and commitments.

Candidate profile

You're a recent graduate or young professional with a strong interest in logistics and process optimization, a fast learner who works in a structured way within a dynamic, international environment.

Additionally:

• 0-1 years of experience in operations, logistics, or freight forwarding — no specific degree required.
• Process-oriented, detail-focused, and compliance-first.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) — hard requirement.
• Tech-savvy and open to using AI in daily work.
• Available full-time (40 hrs/week) for at least one year, on-site in Amsterdam.

• A gross hourly wage of €16.50 (approximately €2,860 gross per month), including 8% holiday pay and 25 vacation days per year.
