Position: Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator (US MNC / Regional Hub)

Location: Penang, Malaysia (Initially WFH, transitioning to Bukit Mertajam facility)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

They have an established and growing operations hub in Bukit Mertajam, Penang dedicated to supporting high-end manufacturing clients across the Northern region. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit, highly collaborative core team (currently 6 members) and play a critical role in driving their regional supply chain success.

The Opportunity We are looking for a highly driven Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. You will be the vital bridge connecting international customers, regional procurement teams, and local warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Order Mastery: Accurately manage and process customer Purchase Orders (POs) using enterprise systems (SAP/Navision), acting as the primary operational point of contact.
• Logistics & Shipment Orchestration: Coordinate daily shipment schedules, monitor transportation management systems (TMS), and ensure timely, flawless delivery commitments.
• Supply Chain Problem Solving: Work hand-in-hand with procurement teams to track material availability, proactively identify potential supply chain bottlenecks, and provide swift solutions.
• Warehouse Synergy: Act as the key liaison with the warehouse floor. Once the Bukit Mertajam facility is fully ready, you will conduct site visits to ensure outbound shipments are seamlessly executed.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with the existing team to continuously improve and document daily operational workflows and SOPs.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in Order Management, Customer Service Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Coordination (B2B or manufacturing background is highly preferred).
• System Savvy: Hands-on experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus.
• Language Power: Professional fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is essential to communicate smoothly with regional suppliers, global stakeholders, and local warehouse teams.
• Team Player Mindset: Self-motivated and highly independent, yet an excellent team player who can collaborate seamlessly with the current 6-member local team.
• Location: Currently based in Penang/Mainland and comfortable transitioning to a permanent office/factory setup in Bukit Mertajam.

Employment Details & What We Offer:

• Employment Structure: This is a long-term, dedicated headcount for our client's strategic regional operations. To facilitate an agile and compliant structure while the client scales their local entity, your employment contract and full statutory benefits (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) will be legally managed and protected by our Global HR Partner via an Employer of Record (EOR) model. You will enjoy a seamless, standard full-time experience while reporting directly to the client's management team.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,300.00 per month
