Supply Chain Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Superintendent to join the Didipio Community Development Corporation team full-time. Based in Didipio, Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, this strategic position will oversee and manage supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination. As Supply Chain Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain processes, reducing costs, and maintaining the highest standards of inventory control and supplier management to support the company's operational excellence and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
• Direct inventory management operations to ensure optimal stock levels whilst minimising holding costs and stockouts
• Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products
• Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Develop and maintain supply chain policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations
• Lead and supervise supply chain team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Forecast demand and plan procurement schedules in alignment with operational requirements
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply chain disruptions or issues promptly
• Prepare supply chain reports and present findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the supply chain

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory management within the manufacturing or logistics sector
• Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, procurement processes, and supply chain optimisation techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to supervise and motivate team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards relevant to the manufacturing and logistics sector
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
