Help shape how knowledge is shared, retained, and continuously improved across one of New Zealand's most complex supply chain environments. In this role, you'll make it easier for our teams to access the right information, build capability, and deliver with confidence, creating lasting impact across the business.
As part of our Supply Chain team, you'll play a key role in strengthening the systems, governance, and frameworks that support documentation, training, and competency management. With a strong reputation for culture, service, and innovation, Air New Zealand is consistently ranked as one of New Zealand's most attractive employers. Behind the scenes, our corporate teams are shaping strategy, driving performance, and supporting a thriving, future-fit business.
About the role
- Lead the governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain documentation, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and consistently managed across teams
- Partner with subject matter experts and Learning teams to develop technical procedures, operational training programmes, and competency frameworks that build capability across Supply Chain
- Identify knowledge gaps, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide reporting and insights that help leaders strengthen team capability and performance
- Build strong relationships across the business to champion knowledge sharing, support change, and embed best practice documentation and training standards.
What we're looking for
- Experience in documentation, training, or knowledge management, ideally within a Supply Chain environment
- Proven ability to develop document management systems, training programmes, and governance frameworks that support operational excellence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships
- A continuous improvement mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage risk in a practical and proactive way
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable. NZPICS CPIM and/or Lean Six Sigma qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
What we can offer you:
We want our people to live their best lives and access great benefits that support their lives outside work. In this role, you’ll enjoy:
- Discounted flights for you and your whānau to explore Aotearoa and the world
- Access to health and wellbeing tools, including KoruHealth and EAP
- FlexiLeave lets you purchase up to 4 extra weeks off each year
- A workplace savings scheme with matching employer contributions
- Development opportunities in one of New Zealand’s most iconic organisations.
If you meet the majority of the criteria and are excited by the opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're passionate about creating high-quality knowledge systems, enabling people to succeed, and driving continuous improvement across a critical business function, we'd love to hear from you. Join Air New Zealand and help build the capability that keeps our supply chain moving today and into the future.
Applications close Sunday 4th October 2026.
