Title of the position: Supply Chain Planner
Reports to: Head of Supply Chain
Purpose of the job: This position is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing the flow of materials and finished product supplies through the company s global organization. The candidate is the leader of the product SI&OP process and co-operates with the network of 10 toll manufacturers and CMOs. The main duties include preparing and adjusting the supply plans that balance with the product demand and the capacity of the manufacturing sites, issuing the Production purchase orders for FG and raw materials, controlling the inventory levels across the value chain, and developing and maintaining 18 months rolling production forecasts. Follows the continuous improvement principles. Opportunity for candidates to lead strategic Project in the CMO/Supply/ other SC areas across the organization.
Main missions and responsibilities + expected results:
Accountability 1: Supply planning management for manufacturers [in-house, or CMOs]
Expected result:

• Collects, checks and projects the sales forecast from the region for the products portfolio managed.
• Negotiates with the demand planners, performs rough cut capacity planning, and ensures compliance to MOQ, batch size and production campaign size.
• Manages the weekly meetings with the sites to review the ongoing productions, negotiates the supply, highlights the risks and potential delays, and discusses the priorities.
• Ensures that the products produced and delivered to the main Distribution Centre, or supplied directly, are dispatched to the market with priority.
  Accountability 2: Inventory Planning
  Expected result:
• Owns Inventory Planning and master data activities across the dedicated Product portfolio.
• Responsible for maintaining an 18-month rolling production forecast to balance demand and supply, maximizing service, avoiding waste and ensuring the projected inventory levels. Avoids product shortages.
• Ensures efficient usage of APIs across the products/manufacturing sites, to maintain the balanced API levels per source; Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of APIs and/or other raw materials.
• Manages the corresponding stocks consumption in respect of the production dossier. Check the suppliers' invoices to support the payment approval process.
  Accountability 3: SI&OP
  Expected result:
• Active role in developing and leading the global holistic SI&OP process, which includes all needed steps: pre-meeting analyses, coordinating cross-functionally to schedule and conduct the franchise SI&OP meeting, and communicating post-meeting action items.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor manufacturing capacity and adjust plans as needed.
• Data Analysis: Use data analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.
  Accountability 4: Production Purchase Order
  Expected result:
• Coordinates the POs and the work orders in respect to the contractual lead times and conditions e.g. campaigns.
• Ensures selections of artworks and product version number. Negotiates supply with the site.
  Accountability 5: New Product Launches and Product lifecycle management
  Expected result:
• Supports all specific demands for the new product, new format, new development or investigational medical studies.
• Designs the supply solution with the manufacturing sites, phase out of SKU.
  Accountability 6: KPls [Key Performance Indicators]
  Expected result:
• Builds and follows all metrics and reporting for this position, e,g. OTIF, monthly capacity requirements, Forecast Accuracy, Line Fill Rate, Back-Order, Inventory Turns and others.
  Accountability 7: Supplier relationship management
• Holds the relationship with the suppliers.
• Drives a culture of continuous improvement and high performance among internal peers and external stakeholders.
• Onboarding of the dynamic base of CMDO and in-house manufacturing organizations.
  Other Accountabilities:
• Contracting: involvement in the development, maintenance of the CMDO contracts ; interpretation of contracts.
• Project management: possible part time activity. Executing and managing a portfolio of projects in various area of supply chain planning.
• Continuous Monitoring: Continuously monitor inventory levels and adjust plans in response to changing circumstances.
• Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials, e.g. API

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor or Master in supply & Logistics or equivalent.
• Professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, logistics and pharma production processes.
• Working with the ERP, an integrated IT system, is mandatory for purchasing & supply modules.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, med device, or FMCG industries ( 5 years).
• Good analytical capabilities and ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments.
