The Supply Planning Specialist is responsible for building and implementing short and mid-term production plan, leading and developing supply planning best practice for the cost optimization while meeting the level of customer satisfaction. This is the liaison between Sales & operations and whole supply chain. Main tasks are handling MPS, MRP, master data, and BOM.

Work location: Based Ba ria – Vung tau

1.Master Production Scheduling (MPS)(50%):

• Be responsible for developing Master Production scheduling in short and mid-term to maximize production capacity, inventory efficiency and products availability to meet customers demand
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules to ensure the optimal utilization of manufacturing resources.
• Optimize production capacity by reducing set up time and downtime, grouping similar product families to improve production efficiency
• Lead weekly production meeting to implement and align on the weekly production plan
• Arrange short and mid-tern production schedule for both semi-products and non-semi products
• Participate in NPD process for launching new products

2.Material Requirement Planning (MRP) (30%):

• Manage MRP to ensure raw material and packaging, Coating are ready for production, ordering the right quantity at the right time
• Raise PR for packaging, Coating and raw material for production in timely manner
• 'Release raw material purchase plans to optimize warehouse capacity and prevent inbound shipments from exceeding plant storage limits
• Minimize the aging stocks for FG, Raw Material and packaging, proactively identify and coordinate with relevant departments for finding solutions to reduce slow-moving inventory
• Maintain and update master data, BOM in the system
• Create Production orders on the system

3.Safety (10%):

• Adhere and comply with all safety and health procedures and regulations, and to inform the HSE team when there is an unsafe act, situation or practice being observed.

4.Other (10%):

• Conducted month reconciliation during month-end closing month to identify gaps between the actual consumption vs standard BOM
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Line Manager

Requirement:

• Education background in Finance & Accounting; Economic Commercial
• From 2 years in Planning & Supply Chain in a multi-site manufacturing environment – Consumer goods/FMCG, or industrial/continuous process is preferred.
• Familiarity with glass or packaging manufacturing process is an advantage.
• Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving, Communication and Presentation ability, detail-oriented
• Advanced Planning Systems MRP
• Microsoft Office – emphasis on Excellent Excel and advance Excel : Power query, Power BI, Power Automate (must)
• Has experience in ERP (SAP / Exact...) system
• Good in written and spoken English and Vietnamese
