What they need

ASR International is seeking two Supply Technicians to support the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's Central Issuing Facility (CIF) at Fort Indiantown Gap. The CIF issues clothing and gear to Soldiers. You will help Soldiers and units get, exchange and return their uniforms and field gear, keep accurate records, and support warehouse and inventory work.
This hands-on, customer-facing role suits candidates with Army supply, warehouse or clothing-issue experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for Soldiers and units at the CIF service counter
  • Review paperwork, hand receipts and appointment documents before processing any action
  • Process clothing and gear issues, exchanges and turn-ins using Army procedures
  • Size and fit Soldiers for uniforms and equipment, and put together issue packets
  • Inspect returned items for condition, completeness, cleanliness and correct size
  • Receive, stage, store and shelve items in the right warehouse locations
  • Separate items into usable, unusable and awaiting a decision
  • Find mismatches in quantities, sizes, condition or records, and report them to the government lead
  • Enter and update transactions in the Army's equipment tracking system (SEAM) and in spreadsheets
  • Keep transaction files, appointment rosters and tracking logs organized and ready for audit
  • Track backorders, expected deliveries and pending returns
  • Prepare reports on customer volume, transactions, discrepancies and backlog
  • Help with monthly inventory counts, the annual inventory and record reconciliations
  • Support busy periods, such as mobilizations, demobilizations and deployment preparation
  • Keep counters, workspaces and storage areas clean, orderly and safe

Qualifications

Required

  • Hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse, supply, retail issue or CIF-type operations
  • Army experience or knowledge related to CIF, Soldier clothing and gear, supply or warehouse support
  • Working knowledge of Army supply regulations, records management and Army correspondence
  • Valid driver's license
  • Skill with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to stand for long periods, move through storage areas, and lift and handle clothing and gear
  • Able to pass a background check and get a Common Access Card (CAC), the military ID card required for this role
  • Able to complete required training within 60 days of hire, including security, antiterrorism and CIF/warehouse familiarization courses

Preferred

  • Experience with military clothing issue operations
  • Experience with SEAM or other Army property systems
  • Familiarity with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 700-84 and DA PAM 710-2-1
  • Military or veteran background in supply
