Support Consultant

The Role
EG Construction develops IT solutions for the construction industry. To continue developing and offering the most forward-thinking solutions, we are now looking for a support consultant for our service desk in Tønsberg. The support department at EG Construction Norway consists of 11 dedicated and highly qualified employees, providing support to close to 10,000 customers and 50,000 users.

As a support consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and help solve technical challenges via phone, chat, email, remote access, and AI agents. You will work with both 1st and 2nd line cases, document errors, create user guides, and ensure customers have a professional and positive experience. Normal working hours are 08:00–16:00, though planned work outside regular hours may occur.

Your tasks will include:

• Provide user support on our in-house developed software and contribute to satisfied customers through professional customer service.
• Alternate between 1st and 2nd line cases in line with our guidelines.
• Document errors, prepare guides, and maintain routines.

The work is organised and managed through our case system. You drive the handling of enquiries and follow up the customer's cases within the EG organisation, supported by established processes and routines, in collaboration with the customer team and development.

• Good understanding of IT and digital solutions, with a liking for systems and structure.
• Ability to build good relationships.
• Fluent Norwegian, spoken and written, and good English skills.
• Enjoys customer contact and brings a personable, engaging manner.
• Curious about new technology, with a desire to learn something new every day.
• Eager to learn, solution-oriented, and a team player who can also work independently.
