Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Support Engineer to join our technical team in Puchong, Selangor. What you'll be doing

• Assisting sales and marketing team in handling technical queries from customers
• Supporting the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, proposals and documentation for engineering projects
• Conducting calculations and analysis to support electrical design work and ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on technical solutions and improvements
• Assisting with the testing and validation of electrical components and systems
• Supporting senior engineers in the development of engineering processes and procedures
• Gathering and analyzing technical data to support engineering decision-making
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for process optimizations
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on projects
• Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation for all assigned projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles and design concepts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation software
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to project deadlines
• Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices relevant to electrical design
• Willingness to travel will be appreciated
