Support Engineer

📍 Location: Parque das Nações, Lisbon

🏢 Working model: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office

We are looking for an Application Support professional to join a project in the banking sector , with experience in application operations, monitoring, and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor and manage job execution using Control-M.
• Investigate and resolve incidents in Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Support applications running on Tomcat and Apache.
• Monitor file transfers using CFT and support deployments with ArgoCD.
• Monitor application performance and availability using Dynatrace.
• Support applications in OpenStack, AWS, and Kubernetes environments.
• Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, following ITIL best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Control-M is mandatory.
• Experience in application support.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows CMD, and Linux.
• Knowledge of Tomcat, Apache, and CFT.
• Familiarity with OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with Dynatrace monitoring.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, 2 days per week.
