Support Engineer

Support Engineer – Arnhem

We are currently looking for an experienced Support Engineer to support a client based in Arnhem.

You will be responsible for supporting customers with technical connectivity issues, troubleshooting incidents and ensuring problems are resolved quickly and effectively. This is a customer-focused role requiring strong networking and telecommunications knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to customers via phone, email and ticketing systems
• Troubleshooting connectivity, internet and telecom-related issues
• Diagnosing and resolving technical incidents
• Supporting customers with network and connectivity problems
• Troubleshooting customer connection issues
• Escalating more complex technical issues when required
• Keeping customers informed throughout the troubleshooting process
• Accurately documenting incidents and solutions
• Working closely with internal engineers and technical teams
• Communicating with suppliers where necessary
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Strong experience in a technical support, networking or telecommunications role
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge
• Good understanding of networking, connectivity and telecommunications
• Experience troubleshooting network and customer connection issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of technical issues
