In addition to our locations in Germany, we are also represented by an office in Timișoara, Romania, located in the United Business Center. Your tasks:

• You ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of Linux system environments in 2nd Level Support and handle incidents, service requests, problems, and changes.
• You administer Linux servers across different distributions and analyze and resolve operational issues in complex customer environments.
• You manage virtualized server environments, monitor performance and resources, and carry out backup and recovery activities.
• You support the operation of non-SAP database systems, handle database alerts, and perform operational administration tasks.
• You work closely with customers as well as internal platform, network, and 3rd-level teams and document solutions and operational procedures in a clear and structured manner.

Your profile:

• You have completed vocational training in IT or hold a comparable qualification and have practical experience in operating Linux servers.
• You have good knowledge of at least one Linux distribution, such as RHEL, Ubuntu, or SUSE, as well as experience in server administration.
• You are familiar with the fundamentals of modern network technologies such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and routing.
• You have initial experience in operating relational database systems and an understanding of monitoring, performance, and capacity management.
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and service-oriented manner and have good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Ideally, you can also contribute additional knowledge of VMware, cloud platforms, Oracle databases, container technologies, automation solutions, or ITIL-related operational processes.
