About the Role
The Support Officer provides flexible administrative support across Caterlink's Warranty, Tender Administration and System Control departments — primarily assisting with overflow workload and keeping each department functional when team members are on leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Speak confidently with clients, suppliers, builders and internal team members on the phone and team calls
• Prioritise workload across the three functions in line with urgency, leave schedules and Support Manager direction
• Maintain working knowledge of each department's processes to minimise handover time
• Liaise with each department's primary team member to ensure a smooth transfer of tasks
• Log service requests received through phone and email
• Provide regular updates to clients and colleagues on open claims
• Follow up on service requests with suppliers and service agents through to job completion
• Review technician reports and authorise payment of warranty costs
• Monitor tender platforms and direct builder channels for new and amended tender opportunities
• Manage email correspondence with builders relating to tender documentation

About You

• Proficient with MS Office programs, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Highly organised with excellent time management and ability to prioritise across competing demands
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly when moving between departments
• Transparent, accountable and eager to learn and develop
• High level of initiative and flexibility
• Desirable: Familiarity with Epicor
• Desirable: Understanding of data mining for tender opportunities
• Desirable: Industry knowledge of commercial kitchens scope of works

Minimum BYOD System Requirements

• Stable fibre internet connection (minimum 100Mbps upload/download or faster), with a back-up internet connection
• Windows laptop or PC with at least 8GB RAM, i5 CPU, Windows 11, camera, and two monitors
• Noise-cancelling headset with microphone for phone calls and video meetings
• Work location with minimal distractions and background noise
