Support Services Manager

Location: Field based covering Nottingham to Towcester with paid travel Salary: £40,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 5/7 but mainly Monday to Friday, 7:00-16:00 Key Responsibilities

• Manage a busy B&I catering operation, including a café and full food service offer, serving up to 600 covers per day
• Oversee day-to-day site operations, including site support, administration, finance, and compliance activities
• Manage and oversee cleaning, catering, retail, portering, pest control, and security services
• Ensure service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all service areas
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Manage budgets and supplier relationships effectively
• Lead and motivate diverse teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence
• Liaise with client stakeholders and site management teams as required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Support the delivery of company objectives while maintaining high standards across all services

About You

• Proven experience in managing hospital support services
• Strong leadership and operational management skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
