Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations using platforms like OpenTable or similar systems
• Take accurate orders from guests, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including basic meal preparation, beverage mixing, and food handling in accordance with food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, washing dishes, and ensuring all kitchen and service areas meet sanitation guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and provide receipts while practicing excellent phone etiquette for take-out or delivery orders
• Support catering events by assisting with setup, food preparation, serving guests, and cleanup efforts
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries promptly, managing dietary restrictions professionally, and providing in-person customer service that exceeds expectations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, dishwashing procedures, and food safety protocols
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for order processing and cash transactions
• Experience in restaurant environments including catering, delivery driving, or dietary aide roles is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork mindset
