Job Overview

Support Staff at Traveler’s Alehouse help keep the guest experience running smoothly from arrival to food delivery. This blended role includes hosting, bussing, expo duties, and managing reservations and online orders. You’ll greet guests, maintain table turnover, coordinate food accuracy, and assist with third-party pickup orders in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Greet guests, manage waitlists, and track reservations accurately.
• Assign seating using our table-management system.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining room.
• Clear and reset tables quickly to keep service running smoothly.
• Coordinate food between the kitchen and servers, checking accuracy and presentation.
• Communicate modifications, allergies, and special requests to kitchen staff.
• Monitor and organize DoorDash, Uber Eats, and GotChew pickup orders.
• Ensure proper packaging and timely handoff to delivery drivers.
• Assist team members with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hosting, bussing, expo, or online ordering is a plus but not required.
• Weekend availability is required, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Basic math skills for reservations and guest counts.
• Familiarity with POS or reservation systems is helpful.
• Ability to stand, walk, and stay active for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to excellent guest service.
