Support Staff - Security, Gardening

The successful candidates will provide essential operational, security, transportation, grounds maintenance, and general support services to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the University.

Candidates will be assigned duties based on their specific role, qualifications, experience, and the operational needs of the University.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect University staff, students, visitors, facilities, and property.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas.
• Conduct routine patrols of University premises.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and security incidents.
• Maintain security logs and incident reports.
• Assist with emergency response when required.
• Enforce University security procedures.
• Report directly to the Chief Security Officer.
• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, flowers, and other landscaped areas.
• Mow and trim grass and prune plants where required.
• Water and maintain plants.
• Remove weeds and garden waste.
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Keep the University's outdoor environment neat and attractive.
