Overview

The Support Technician II will provide hands-on support for network deployment and hardware refresh initiatives throughout Austin and surrounding locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage, inventory, package, and ship networking equipment and end-user hardware.
• Assist with Starlink deployment, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support AT&T AI/IBU mobile connectivity devices and related field equipment.
• Perform hardware replacement projects, including firewall and networking equipment upgrades.
• Support migration activities from Fortinet/FortiGate environments to Meraki solutions.
• Assist network engineers with deployment scheduling, device configuration, and implementation activities.
• Track inventory, asset records, and deployment documentation.
• Provide onsite technical support as required to keep rollout schedules on track.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support, field technician, desktop support, or network support experience.
• Experience handling, staging, and deploying IT hardware.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and installation plans.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and travel locally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to networking equipment, firewalls, wireless connectivity, or telecommunications hardware.
• Experience supporting Starlink, Meraki, Fortinet, or AT&T connectivity solutions.
