Support Volunteering

As a support volunteer, you'll make a meaningful difference to the lives of people living with and affected by MND. By offering your time and compassion you will help us meet the diverse needs of people and provide vital support during a challenging journey.

The types of ways you can help are varied and here are a few ideas for you:

• Build supportive relationships and offer a listening ear, as well as helping them access the services and support they need, when they need it
• Arrange opportunities for people to come together providing opportunities for them to connect with others affected by MND
• Lend a hand at events focussed on supporting people living with and affected by MND, helping to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable
• Empower carers by providing them with information about support available to them and help bring new, existing and past carers together
