Support Worker - Bega

A Gentleman with spinal cord injury (SCI) based in Bega- NSW, requires a Support Worker to provide Personal Care.

Shifts available:

• 2-3 shifts a week
• 7am – 11am Mondays to Sundays
• 8pm – 10pm Mondays to Sundays (when needed)
• Covering other Support Workers when away or sick
• Available for occasional sleepovers

Duties include:

-          Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming (including bowel and catheter care, skin management, and medication management)

-          Manual handling and mobility support

-          Domestic assistance such as meal preparation and light household tasks

-          Help with outings, appointments, and home exercise programs.

SCI experience is highly regarded but not essential, with full training provided. We're looking for a flexible team player who can work either directly for me or independently with your own ABN.

Essential

• Local to the Bega area
• Police Check compulsory
• Driver's licence
• Own vehicle

Desirable

• First Aid certificate
• Certificate in Nursing/Community care
• Paramedic/Nursing student
