$27.00 - $32.00 per hour dependant on NZQA qualifications

We are looking for Support Workers extraordinaire!

We are expanding our services in  Palmerston North and due to the increase in referrals, we are seeking part time and casual Support Workers to support our clients  in our Palmerston North residential service. This will suit people who are looking for flexibility and more regular shifts in one place to assist our clients with their daily cares.

This rewarding role involves:

Assisting clients with personal cares, home help, shopping assistance, and meal preps.

Supporting exercise programs.

Assisting clients to access the community.

The ideal candidate would have:

A can-do attitude with the willingness to learn new skills, if required

Minimum of Level 2 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a willingness to train) is preferred

A full driver’s license

Previous support worker experience

Flexibility to cover shifts, and a willingness to do rostered evenings and weekend work

Great written and verbal communication skills

NZ Permanent residency or citizenship
