We have a reputation for providing our active residents with support in an understanding, individual and caring way. Life Homes has both casual and part-time positions available - with the opportunity to increase hours going forward.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate has
- A strong desire to positively enhance the lives of young adults with an intellectual disability
- A commitment to supporting individual needs, skills, abilities and goals
- Personal characteristics of integrity, empathy and models Christian values
- Full drivers licence
Previous experience is not necessary
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist with personal cares
- Model and teach household tasks
- Enable residents to achieve personal goals
- Facilitate and support with vocational opportunities
- Drive to activities, clubs, sports, jobs etc
