Support Worker

About the role

Eskleigh Foundation is on the lookout for caring, enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in Hobart. This is a casual role where you’ll be supporting people with disabilities in a group home environment, helping them live as independently and confidently as possible.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting clients with day-to-day activities like personal care, cooking, and getting out and about
• Building genuine, positive relationships and providing emotional support
• Speaking up for clients and making sure their needs and rights are respected
• Keeping clear and accurate notes on progress and support provided
• Working alongside a supportive team to deliver well-rounded care
• Helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive home environment

What we’re looking for

• A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
• Relevant qualifications - First Aid and CPR
• Experience in a similar role is great, especially in disability or aged care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of people
• Calm problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
• A driver’s licence and reliable transport
