Support Worker

Rural Nursing Services is currently looking for Support workers to assist us to provide in home care for our community clients in Mudgee and surrounds.

Rural Nursing Services provides in home care to the Aged and disability adn Veteran sectors in the Mudgee and surrounding regions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and support to clients in their daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Support clients in developing and maintaining their independence, social connections, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and review individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation
• Attend and participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
• Adhere to RNS policies, procedures, and code of conduct

What we require:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or a related field - (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification
• Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Reliable source of transport vehicle to be Registered and Insured
• 2 references one of which must be from a past employer
