Help make someone’s short stay a great one.

Our Adult Short Break Service is a welcoming home where adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and physical disabilities come to stay, have fun, spend time away from home and enjoy new experiences.

We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team – and if you think support work is just about routines and personal care, there’s much more to it than that.

You could be getting out into the community, supporting someone with an activity they love, helping them try something new, building confidence and independence, or simply making sure they have a brilliant stay.

Our home has also recently had a fantastic refresh, creating an even brighter, more welcoming and accessible environment for the people who stay with us.

You’ll provide support with daily living and personal care, including supporting people with significant physical disabilities, so you’ll need to be comfortable with all aspects of the role. Experience is great, but attitude matters just as much – we’re looking for someone warm, reliable, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in the people they support.

What we offer

£14.17 per hour (£28,814.13 per annum for 39 hours) if you hold the relevant Level 3 qualification.

Don’t have your Level 3? We’ll fund it for you.

You’ll also get ongoing training and development, opportunities to progress within Jubilee House, a Blue Light Card, Employee Assistance Programme and a supportive team around you.
