Support Worker – Newton Abbot, Devon (16 or 35 Hours per Week)

Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Salary: starting at £12.72 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (16 hours) or Full-Time (35 hours)
Shifts: Flexible across weekdays, weekends, and some evenings (rota-based)

About the Role:

You will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs in their own homes or in the community. Your role will include:

• Helping with day-to-day activities like cooking, shopping, and personal care
• Supporting with appointments and social outings
• Encouraging independence and confidence in daily life
• Providing emotional support and companionship

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring and respectful attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided!
• A driving licence is desirable but not required
