Multiple Permanent Part-Time Opportunities | Noble Park

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for the opportunity to help establish a new home from the ground up?

We're preparing to open a brand-new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) home in Noble Park and are seeking passionate, skilled Support Workers to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service from day one, helping create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where people with disability can build independence, develop skills, pursue their goals and live life on their own terms.

We're looking for people who genuinely value person-centred practice, understand the importance of choice and autonomy, and are committed to delivering high-quality support that makes a meaningful difference.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity and inclusion.
  • Support participants with daily living activities, personal care, community participation and skill development.
  • Build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with participants, families and colleagues.
  • Encourage and support participants to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
  • Follow individual support plans, medication requirements and positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Complete accurate documentation, progress notes and reporting requirements.
  • Respond calmly and confidently to changing participant needs and situations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team culture.

About You

We're keen to hear from experienced Support Workers who:

  • Have demonstrated experience supporting people with disability, including those with complex support needs.
  • Understand and consistently apply person-centred and rights-based approaches.
  • Value participant choice, dignity, safeguarding and self-determination.
  • Build authentic, respectful relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Are reliable, adaptable and proactive in their approach to support.
  • Bring a positive attitude, professional maturity and commitment to quality outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
  • Working rights in Australia.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a brand-new SDA home from the beginning.
  • Help shape the culture, routines and participant experience within a new service.
  • Permanent part-time employment with a variety of shifts available.
  • Ongoing training, development and support.
  • Work alongside a team that values inclusion, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Access up to $18,500 in Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging benefits.

We anticipate these positions commencing around October 2026. As this new service is dependent on participant onboarding and occupancy, exact start dates may vary.
