Responsibilities

• Offer personalized support to children and young people, encouraging their emotional well-being and development
• Assist with daily activities, including educational tasks, recreational activities, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes positive behavior and social interaction
• Mentor individuals through challenges, providing encouragement and constructive feedback
• Collaborate with team members, parents, and external professionals to create tailored support plans
• Support teaching initiatives by helping implement educational programs and activities
• Monitor progress and document observations to inform ongoing support strategies

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people in a supportive or educational capacity
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Passion for teaching and helping individuals develop new skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment with patience and empathy
• Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or social care are desirable but not mandatory
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to fostering positive relationships and promoting well-being
• This will be in a residential setting with option of sleep in

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,224.19 per year
