Support Worker

Job Summary

We are an established provider who deliver support to adults with Mental Health issues, Autism and Learning Disabilities. We are now looking to recruit within the Highland Region. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. In this role, you will provide compassionate support, guidance, and mentorship to help individuals develop essential life skills, foster confidence, and achieve their full potential. Your energetic approach will create a positive environment where Adults feel safe, valued, and motivated to grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nurturing community while gaining valuable experience in caregiving, mentoring, and support.

Duties

• Offer personalised support to young people, encouraging their emotional well-being and social development
• Assist with daily activities
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes positive behaviour and mutual respect
• Mentor our Service users through one-on-one interactions, helping them build confidence and resilience
• Support service users to plan and achieve outcomes and goals
• Observe and record individual progress, behaviour patterns, and any concerns to ensure tailored support plans are effective

Qualifications

• Experience working with young Adults or in a caregiving/support role is highly desirable but not required as full training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with young adults, families, and team members
• Compassionate attitude with patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a lively and positive demeanor

Expected hours: 16.0 – 36.0 per week
