This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and growing service from the very beginning, supporting an adult with complex needs to live a fulfilling, independent, and meaningful life within their local community.

About the Individual

You will be supporting an adult with:

Autism

Severe learning disabilities

Developmental delay

Epilepsy

Hypermobility

Sensory processing disorder

Mental health needs

We are looking for individuals who can provide patient, person-centred support while promoting independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping the individual achieve their goals and live the life they choose. You will provide practical and emotional support while encouraging independence and community participation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting access to community activities and local amenities

Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and meaningful experiences

Promoting life skills, confidence, and independence

Supporting health, wellbeing, and emotional resilience

Building positive relationships based on trust and respect

Providing safe, consistent, and person-centred support
