Summary

Serenity Specialist Care is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in GB. You will support young people aged 8–18 with challenging behaviour and EBD, helping them develop independence, confidence, and emotional well-being. This role includes sleep-in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalised care and support
• Support young people with challenging behaviour and EBD
• Assist with daily routines, meals, medication, and activities
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
• Maintain clear and accurate care records
• Work closely with the team to provide consistent care
• Take part in sleep-in shifts when required

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, especially those with EBD or challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills and empathy
• Ability to manage physical and emotional demands of the role
• First aid qualification preferred
• Driving licence beneficial but not essential
• Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and consistent care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.75-£13.10 per hour
