Support Worker

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to residents in a care home.
• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support residents with eating and drinking, including preparing and serving meals where required.
• Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers, using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Administer or support with medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
• Encourage residents to maintain their independence, dignity, privacy, and choice.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Support residents to participate in activities, social events, and recreational activities.
• Observe residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and report any changes to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate daily records, care notes, and incident reports.
• Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate professionally with residents, relatives, colleagues, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respect residents' confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
• Work as part of the care team to provide a high standard of care and support.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
