The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Support people to live as independently as possible in their own home and community
• Encourage participation in hobbies, social activities and everyday experiences
• Provide support with daily living tasks and personal care where required
• Assist with appointments and promote health and wellbeing
• Help people build confidence, independence and important life skills
• Develop positive, professional relationships based on trust, respect and choice
• Work as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care and support

A driving licence would be useful for some support activities but is not essential, and applications are welcome regardless of driving status.

Previous experience working in care and support as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or in a similar role is welcome, but not required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
