Children’s Support Worker — Full-Time, Permanent

Previous experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) is essential.

Build your future with a stable organisation that values your experience, prioritises your wellbeing and offers opportunities to progress.

We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable Children’s Support Worker with experience supporting children and young people with EBD. You’ll help provide consistent care, build trusting relationships and support young people through everyday challenges, celebrating their achievements along the way.

Why join us?

  • A full-time, permanent role: Build a lasting career with a stable organisation and an experienced, supportive team.
  • A team people stay with: We’re proud of our strong staff retention, with managers who have been with us for years.
  • Real examples of career progression: One colleague joined as a bank Support Worker and progressed to Registered Manager. We recognise potential and encourage people to develop.
  • Owners who understand the job: Both owners started as Support Workers and progressed to Registered Manager and Responsible Individual roles. They remain hands-on and understand the demands and rewards of supporting young people.
  • Staff wellbeing matters: You’ll join an organisation where looking after staff is a priority, with involved leaders who value your contribution and listen to your views.

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker with children and young people, including those with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
  • A calm, patient approach to supporting young people through distress and behaviour that can be challenging.
  • The ability to build positive relationships, maintain consistent boundaries and work closely with colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and helping children feel safe, respected and supported.

Bring your experience to a team where you can make a difference and build a future. Apply today.
