Support Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, with a focus on promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those we support.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment.
• Engage in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation for clients, including recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of residents care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Drive residents to appointments or social outings as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transport needs.
• A compassionate approach to care with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

Pay: £13.71-£16.20 per hour
