Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to a young boy with complex care needs at home and in school.

Hours to be discussed at interview.

Clinical Needs:

• Cerebral Palsy.

• Partially sighted.

• Feeding difficulties Support Workers to support in line with Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) recommendations.

• Moving and handling needs following Occupational Therapy (OT) plans.

• Use of assistive technology to communicate.

• Staff must be able to drive his Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) to support community access and travel.

• Confidence working within home and school environments.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to follow care plans, SLT recommendations, and OT guidance.

• A flexible, reliable, and person-centred approach to support.

• Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Experience

• Previous experience supporting children with complex needs.
• Minimum of 6 months care experience
• Experience in behaviour management is advantageous
• Valid driving licence is required

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
