Support Worker

Pay: £13.45 per hour + 45p per mile mileage allowance

Jemcare is a family-run home care agency with over 35 years of experience supporting people to live independently in their own homes. We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our friendly team across West Cumbria.

No previous care experience is essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will help people maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Your duties may include:

• Providing personal care and support with daily living.
• Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Supporting people to access the community and attend appointments.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Recording care visits and reporting any concerns.
• Treating every person with dignity, respect and kindness.
