Support Worker

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will provide tailored support to vulnerable adults, aiming towards the goal of independent living.

Duties

• Assess individual support needs and deliver a tailored plan, focussing on these needs.
• Provide weekly face-to-face support.
• Performing daily well being checks in person to residents are safe and well.
• Build trusting relationships with residents through effective communication and empathy.
• Writing weekly reports based on the support given - office based but can be completed remotely from home.
• Reporting any maintenance issues in the properties.

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence and own car (required).
• Must be fluent in English.
• Applicant will be subjected to an Enhanced DBS check (required).
• Previous experience is preferred - yearly training provided.
• NVQ Level 3 in social care is preferred - training can be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy at all times.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
