Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by providing essential support to our elderly residents. You will work closely with families and care teams to ensure safety, well-being, and continuity of care , helping create an environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Duties

• Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, routines, meal planning, shopping and housekeeping, companionship, accompanied outings and accessing the Community. Low Level Personal care as 99% of our service users live an independent life and medication reminders.
• Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet each persons specific needs and preferences.
• Maintain clear communication with families, colleagues, and other professionals regarding progress or concerns.
• Record detailed notes on a bespoke Digital recording and auditing system
• Ensure a safe environment by conducting regular checks of the living space and adhering to health and safety protocols.

Skills

• Experience working and caring for someone (could be someone at home)
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with families, and team members.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt as needed for individual circumstances.
• Valid Full UK DRIVING LICENSE is ESSENTIAL and a vehicle to use for the role
• Compassionate, patient, and energetic approach
• Good understanding of the Local area's
