SUPPORT WORKER

Job Title: Support Worker (Includes Sleep-in Shifts)

Location: Leominster HR6

Hours: 104 hours contracted per 28 day fixed rota period

Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate

£12.96 per hour + Sleep in Rate £90 per sleep in (10pm to 7am)

Overtime rates (over 160 hours per month) at £13.96 per hour

Shift Details: Monday to Sunday 7am to 10pm

What you will be doing:

Kelsam support adults with brain injury, mental health, learning disability, physical disability and autism.

You will be providing high-quality, person-centred support to help our clients live independent, happy, and fulfilling lives. Your day-to-day will involve assisting with morning and evening routines, helping with personal care, preparing delicious meals, and keeping things organized. Beyond the practical tasks, you will be a companion—sharing laughs, supporting hobbies, going out into the community, and bringing positive energy into the home.

This role includes scheduled sleep-in shifts, where you will stay overnight to provide safety, peace of mind, and occasional support if needed, ensuring our clients feel secure through the night.

What we are looking for:

• A warm, bubbly, and positive personality with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a naturally empathetic, patient nature.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Previous care experience is a plus, but a great attitude and shared values are what matter most to us, as full training is provided.
• A full driving licence is highly desirable.
