Support Worker - Complex Care - Child

Life Plus is looking for Support Workers to join a dedicated care team supporting a young person with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

This is a rewarding role for someone who can build a positive relationship while providing the structure, consistency and clear boundaries our client needs to feel safe and supported.

About the role
You will provide one-to-one support tailored to the client's individual and developmental needs, helping create a safe, positive and structured environment.

The role requires someone who understands that consistency matters. You will work closely with the wider care team, following established routines and approaches to ensure the client receives consistent support from everyone around them.

Shifts are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm.

About you
We would love to hear from you if you:

• Hold Level 4 Health & Wellbeing
• Have experience working with children or young people
• Are calm, patient, flexible and reliable
• Can establish and maintain clear and consistent boundaries
• Are confident responding to behaviours that may at times be challenging
• Are a great team player and communicate well with others
• Can follow established routines, care plans and behaviour support strategies
• Are comfortable providing one-to-one support
• Bring a positive, respectful and encouraging approach to your work

Experience supporting someone with TBI, complex care, behaviour support or seizures would be an advantage, but we don't expect you to know everything from day one.

The client requires seizure monitoring and management, and client-specific training will be provided to ensure you understand their needs and know how to respond safely and confidently.
