Support Worker Female only

We are seeking a reliable Support Worker to support a male adult with an acquired brain injury. He uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with hoisting and medication.

The service is looking for someone who can provide support over the longer term. Shifts will involve lone working.

Key responsibilities

• Support the individual with daily activities and promote his independence.
• Assist with wheelchair use and safe transfers using a hoist.
• Provide medication support in accordance with training and the individual’s care plan.
• Follow care plans and safety procedures while working independently.

Requirements

• Current moving and handling training, including hoist use.
• Current Medication Administration training certificate**.**
• Ability to work safely and confidently as a lone worker.
• Reliability and availability to provide consistent support.
• Relevant care experience, ideally supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Shift pattern:

· Day shifts - 08:00-20:00

· Night shifts - 20:00-08:00

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
